Services are disconnected
Mental health, tutoring, athletics, VAPA, and leadership programs often operate separately, leaving families to coordinate support on their own.
Plan To GrowSupport the visionA connected community growth ecosystem
Plan To Grow connects mental health, athletics, academics, VAPA (Visual & Performing Arts), community resources, and leadership development through one clear pathway for youth, adults, and families.

Why PTG exists
A young person may need counseling, tutoring, mentorship, a safe activity space, and leadership guidance at the same time. Today, those supports are often scattered across different providers, prices, locations, and referral systems.
Mental health, tutoring, athletics, VAPA, and leadership programs often operate separately, leaving families to coordinate support on their own.
Cost, transportation, limited availability, and complicated referral processes keep many families from receiving timely support.
Young people have talent and promise, but many lack the consistent mentorship, accountability, and opportunity needed to develop it.
Too many systems respond after crisis. Communities also need early support, safe environments, and long-term skill building.
PTG exists to replace fragmented support with a coordinated growth system built around the whole person.
The PTG solution
People can enter through any area of need and still benefit from the larger PTG network. Each focus area works independently while connecting to one shared plan for growth.
Counseling access, prevention, wellness education, group support, family guidance, and connections to care.
Fitness, sports development, discipline, teamwork, coaching, mentorship, and healthy confidence.
Tutoring, college and career readiness, first-generation support, academic advising, and financial literacy.
Music, dance, theater, visual arts, creative writing, cultural enrichment, and space for healthy expression.
Warm referrals, family navigation, partner connections, workshops, and practical pathways to the next right support.
Leadership is built into every pathway
Through training, assessment, mentorship, practice, and real opportunity, participants are equipped to lead and strengthen the communities around them.
How it works
PTG is structured enough to measure progress and flexible enough to respond to real people. Every participant moves through a clear process designed to reduce confusion and keep growth moving.
Enter
A family request, school, church, clinic, city agency, nonprofit, or sponsored cohort can begin the connection.
Understand
PTG reviews the participant’s strengths, barriers, priorities, and goals instead of reducing them to one challenge.
Connect
The participant is connected to the most helpful PTG focus area, partner service, or coordinated combination of supports.
Support
Programs, mentors, professionals, and partners work together to provide consistent guidance and meaningful opportunity.
Grow
Participation, skills, goals, and outcomes are reviewed so each person can continue, advance, redirect, or lead.
Who we serve
PTG prioritizes minority, under-resourced, first-generation, and low- to middle-income communities while remaining open and useful to every person and family seeking structured support.
Counseling access, tutoring, sports, creative development, prevention, mentorship, college and career support, and leadership training.
Family education, practical workshops, referral navigation, communication support, and clearer connection points for help.
Accessible, relationship-centered, and culturally responsive pathways for people too often overlooked by fragmented systems.
Schools, churches, nonprofits, cities, clinics, universities, and sponsors seeking trusted programming with structure and measurable outcomes.

The conviction behind PTG
People should not have to choose between healing, opportunity, creativity, wellness, and leadership. Real growth happens when the whole person has a clear pathway forward.
Nicholas M. Brown is the Founder and CEO of Plan To Grow, Inc., a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. He is also an author, motivational speaker, youth leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate committed to helping people recognize their potential and build the structure needed to reach it.
A Bay Area native, Nicholas is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at California State University, Fullerton and works in behavioral health as a Behavior Technician. His leadership spans youth ministry, nonprofit administration, education, speaking, and community programming at the local, regional, and international levels.
Through his writing, motivational speaking, and leadership work, Nicholas challenges people to move with purpose, discipline, and intention. He created PTG to help youth, adults, and families move from need to support, from potential to structure, and from personal growth to meaningful leadership.
Initiatives in development
PTG is developing practical community initiatives that create immediate points of access while building toward the larger ecosystem. Individuals, professionals, churches, schools, organizations, and funders can help bring each one to life.

Connect youth and families, provide space, support outreach, or sponsor a defined community cohort.
Strengthen clinical quality, education, athletics, VAPA, legal, finance, grants, operations, or evaluation.
Fund scholarships, equipment, program materials, events, showcases, or named service pathways.
